3 of Hurricane Sports coaches came along to help provide a unique opportunity for 300 schoolchildren to play on the famous blue hockey pitches at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
All of the coaches and schoolchildren then joined 2700 schoolchildren from all over the country to cheer on GB women as they beat Japan 5-1 in an incredible atmosphere!

England Hockey would like to thank Hurricane Sports for helping out on what was a truly memorable day.

We have used Hurricane Sports in the past 6 months to heighten our reach and appeal of the club to Schools and other funded organisations to increase participation within the sport in Lincoln and the surrounding areas.

Gary and his team have delivered all sessions to a standard that is comparable to Level 3 Coaching in hockey (just below international standard) and ensured that when delivering in schools this has complimented the sports departments' agenda and curriculum, as well as working towards an Outstanding in the OFSTED ratings.

Hurricane has helped develop Lincoln Roses HC from a small club set in Gainsborough to one that caters weekly for over 100 members within Lincoln and introduced many juniors to the game where the curriculum has let the sport down.

I am looking forward to working with Gary and the team in the upcoming years to maintain our club's status and reputation within Lincolnshire.
