After School Club - Basketball

This after school club is open to ALL children at Saxilby C E Primary School.

Hurricane Sports Foundation staff will ensure the sessions are safe and in a fun environment for an hour after school, where children have the opportunity to explore and develop their skills. The ethics on the pitch encourage children to mature through learning new skills and communicating closely with others.

Mini Basketball

Mini Basketball  is a game of skill rather than strength; a mixed activity in which boys and girls are able to play alongside each other. The game offers the opportunity to develop the important skills of running, jumping, change of speed and direction, handling a ball, and shooting at a target.

Mini Basketball is the children's version of the game of basketball played with a smaller ball, lower equipment and simplified rules.
