These running sessions are open to joggers of all abilities and are designed to help you make steady progress, No participant gets left behind!
All participants will be asked to do is just turn up in their kit ready to go.
The Sessions will last 60 minutes including a pre-stretch & warm up.
Sessions will begin with the run/walk method building to 5km running plans.

Two groups will be set up at each session:
1. Starter group - walk/jog routine gradually building up the running time
2. Gentle Joggers - individuals who are comfortable in jogging for 20mins will be placed into this group
The sessions will be taken by an athletics instructor who will be accompanied by 2 assistants. The Instructor and assistants will ensure all abilities/fitness levels are catered for by differentiating the running intensities/duration and route to fit the needs of all participants who take part.
Participants will be given knowledge of running technique & will pick up tips and recommendations, everything from good pairs of running socks to breathing techniques.
